⁶ But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why are you causing troubles for her? She worked a good work^[a] in^[b] Me. ⁷ For you always have the poor with you. And whenever you want, you are able to do good for them. But you do not always have Me. ⁸ She did what she had^[c]. She anticipated to perfume My body for its preparation-for-burial.
